People who are legally blind or disabled may qualify for additional benefits.

Apply for more benefits

You can apply for additional benefits if your property has homestead status and you are:

  • Certified legally blind
  • Permanently disabled and currently receiving public assistance
  • Not receiving homestead tax relief for disabled veterans

What you get

You may get a lower property tax rate on the first $50,000 of estimated market value.
